Wallis Petite in You magazine!!

As I flicked through my copy of today's Mail on Sunday's supplement magazine You (which I look forward to every Sunday; You is a great read for fashion inspiration and the keeping up with the season's latest trends!) I was delighted to see a new AW12 advert for the high street brand Wallis petite collection, as modelled by the beautiful Louise Redknapp.

I was so excited to see a petite clothing range advertised amongst designer brands and the regular high street collections as I often get the impression that petite collections are pushed to the side of the fashion world. I think it's also great to see that Louise is once again modelling for the collection, as not only is any celebrity endorsement good for a brand but standing at the petite height of just 5'3, Louise understands how important (and sometimes difficult!) dressing for the petite shape can be!

Caroline Flack wears Topshop Petite Dress!

On Monday 21st May 2012, I wrote a Petite Post on Topshop Petite's gorgeous Heart Mesh Flippy Dress. I was delighted when I saw yesterday's cover of 'Fabulous', The Sun's weekly Sunday glossy supplement magazine, as the stunning presenter Caroline Flack was wearing the same dress!

I love how playful and fun this red heart dress is, and as Caroline shows; it looks great on!!

Team GB's Medal Success!



Watching the closing ceremony of the London 2012 games, I am feeling quite sad that it is all coming come to an end, but what an amazing games it has been!

I feel so proud of Team GB, who have been branded the best Olympic team Britain has ever had, which is certainly true if the medal table is anything to go by. 

Winning a total of 65 medals, with19 bronze, 17 silvers and 29 golds, Team GB came 3rd overall in the London 2012 Olympics, making it Britain's most successful Olympic games in history. The success in our of number of medals added to the fact that our very own spectacular city, London was the host city means that we will definately not be forgetting it in a hurry!

To celebrate Team GB's medal success, I have found the best petite bronze, silver and gold outfits the high street has to offer so you can shimmer and shine with pride!!

Olympic Great British Knitwear!

I have just finished my first week interning for the lovely Amber Wood, director of fashion PR agency 'Emslie Creative' - Take a look at our Facebook page and like if you like what you see!!

One of Emslie's clients is Madeleine Thompson; 'The Queen of Cashmere' who designs stunning knitwear garments, so I decided to have a look through the high street's petite collections to see what they had to offer in knitwear.

I am loving Asos Petite's current collection and following my previous petite post, focused on an Asos Petite sequined dress, this post is dedicated to their stunning 50's body kickersuit which is almost a EXACT replica from Prada's SS12 collection! 

The 50's was a big trend on the Spring Summer 2012 catwalk with pencil skirts, bandeau tops, prom dresses, knicker shorts and all in one swimsuits being some of the key features, so this kickersuit will keep your summer wardrobe bang on trend.

I LOVE everything pink, sparkly and girly soI fell in love with this dress worn by actress Ashley Tisdale to the Premier of the upcoming film 'The Rock of Ages'!

At a tiny 5'3" Ashley really manages to stand out from the crowd in this stunningly shimmering dress and is a true petite sequin inspiration!
