Every Friday on ITV's morning show 'Lorraine' stylist Antonia O'Brian helps viewers solve their fashion woes in the show's feature 'Style Dilemma'.

I was delighted to see that this mornings Style Dilemma was dedicated to styling for petites!

Click on the link above to view the clip, which shows Anotonia give petite viewer Claire, (who stands at only 5'2, has a size 8 - 10 figure and tiny size 3 feet) two new outfits to perfectly suit her small frame!

Why not try out some of the great tips Antonia gives Claire to make yourself both look and feel taller - I particularly loved the tip of being abe to create the illusion of having longer legs by simply teaming cropped jeans with a nude heel or wedge!    

I've taken on Antonia's tip and had a little look for some alternative leg lenghtening options combining these two items. ASOS Petite have some cute pastel pink skinny jeans which could be folded to create the cropped look, and with pasels being a HUGE trend for SS12 they will be a great petite purchase! Team these with some beautiful nude wedges, which are also from ASOS to complete the height illusion - these start from a UK size 3 so are perfect for tiny feet!

Topshop: Petite - Stunning 'Under the Sea' Trend

Last season, for SS12, my absolute favourite trend was 'Under the Sea'. The whole trend just seemed to have something magical about it and I adored the playfulness of the prints, the prettiness of the coral colour pallets and the mystery of the underwater shimmer metallic.
I am therefore soooooo excited to see that Topshop has taken on this trend so beautifully in its current Petite collection, making reference to Georgio Armani, Givenchy and Alexander McQueen's inspirations of the lustrous shine of the ocean, with their sequin adorned garments and metallic fabrics.
My favourite piece from Topshop's Petite take on the trend is the 'Petite Shimmer Dip Hem Skirt' as I love how it combines the shimmer of the glistening sea with its metallic fabric with the stunning peach colour pallet of a glimmering sea shell.

House of Harlow 1960: Small Shoe Stunners!

Last Thursday (19th April) I helped out the lovely Amber Wood and the team at 'Emslie Creative' with a press event for Nicole Richie's AW12 Winter Kate and House of Harlow 1960 collections and the 'queen of cashmeer' Madeleine Thompson's AW12 collection. I had such a great day and it provided me with an amazing insight into the organisation of a press event. I loved both Richie's and Thompson's collections, however the event particularly made me fall in love with Nicole Richie as a designer - I loved this seasons prints and embelished cuffs and her new UK bag collection is STUNNING!

But most exciting of all for us Petites, Nicole is only a tiny 5'1! I was therefore very excited to discover that all of the shoe samples at the event (which were amazingly gorgeous!!!) were a UK size 4, perfect for small tootsies! It was great to see Nicole had unusually supplied the samples in such a small size and seeing as I am a size 4 myself, it made me all the more tempted to take every single pair home with me!
